Dear Sirs,
I encountered your website after searching interlinear translations. Up to now I have been using interlinearbible.org or biblos.com. But recently found out that these resources may not have been accurately showing some hebrew words.
For example, let's take Psalm 23:
New American Standard Bible (©1995)
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

And the interlinear hebrew words for Psalm 23:4 here (http://biblos.com/psalms/23-4.htm ) does not show word "death" but rather only "shadow".
However your site for Ps 23:4 (http://www.scripture4all.org/OnlineInterlinear/OTpdf/psa23.pdf ) shows this:

צַ לְ מָ וֶ - tzlmuth -shadow-of-death.

So I am puzzled as to which interlinear is best. I need to pick the most accurate. So I would like to know which English version you have on your website for the interlinear? I am translating Psalms from Enlgish and sometimes I have to try to see the meaning of the original Hebrew words. I'd be really happy for your any feedback.

Concordant View after searching for Strongs number H6757  (picture is of ISA3 pro - not yet published yet)
seached on H6757 (Interlinear Scripture Analyzer 3)


The Hebrew word (H675) exists of two etymological elements SHADOW and DIE see also Strongs Lexicon:

Now we compare this to the Biblos Hebrew interlinear (02-feb-2012) at http://interlinearbible.org
we see that the same word has very different translations which does not help when you want to do Bible study...

So is Darkness already used for an other Hebrew word (H2822  Biblos: darkness,)
Shadow is already used for an other Hebrew word (H6738)
Thick : (Biblos used is also as translation for : H6205  Job 38:9)
deep should be a translation of a different Hebrew word (H5994  H6009  H6012 H6013 have all the same Etymological element DEEP in it)

The problem here is that if your translate two different Hebrew words with the same word - you are losing information. And in most cases this is not necessary at all.
Second Scripture4All tries to reduce the different translations we use for one Hebrew word. However sometimes you need to have multiple renderings to cover the whole word meaning, but never use it again for other Hebrew words.
