The objective of Scripture4all (read "Scripture for all") is to make the original Scriptures accessible for a broad public by developing tools to bridge the gap between the original Bible texts and Bible translations.
For now the following products have been or are being developed:
- an interlinear program called Interlinear Scripture Analyzer (ISA)
- interlinear databases (CHES / CGES_id / CGTS / nbgHS / nbgGS)
ISA is designed to be dynamic and transparent hereby enhancing objectivity. ISA's unique feature, the "Concordant View", is the ultimate tool to make sophisticated word studies in both Greek and Hebrew.
Scripture4all offers a basic licence of ISA free of charge. In this way people can make themselves familiar with the program and find out for themselves what is written in the original languages.
Over the past ten years, until mid 2005, the ISA project has been the work of two people. The project took about an estimated 10,000 man-hours and was done without any sponsoring. In order to maintain development of the basic free version of ISA, in February 2006 the "Scripture4all Foundation" was formed to support this work. (see donations)
With great new ideas emerging and lots of new interlinear-work waiting, the project will require fulltime attention. Most of the new, 'de luxe', additions will probably ask for some 'fee' to compensate for the extra expenses involved. In the future an online demo will be presented to show these additional features.
